Welcome to our 7-day Nutrition and Ayurveda Course! This program is designed to provide you with a deeper understanding of the quality of food and its impact on your overall well-being. In Ayurveda, nutrition is not just about what you eat, but also how you eat, and the conscious choices you make.
Throughout this course, we will explore the fundamental concepts of Ayurvedic nutrition, starting with the importance of understanding your unique body constitution or dosha. You will learn how to tailor your diet to support your specific needs and maintain optimal balance. We will delve into the six tastes (sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent, and astringent) and how incorporating all of them in your meals can enhance your health.
In addition, we will delve into the principles of sattvic, tamasic, and rajasic foods. These classifications in Ayurveda emphasize the energetic qualities of different foods and their impact on the mind, body, and spirit. By incorporating sattvic foods that promote purity and clarity, avoiding tamasic foods that can lead to dullness and inertia, and moderating rajasic foods that may cause restlessness, you can achieve better balance within your body-mind.
Beyond theory, this course will also provide practical knowledge on how to prepare delicious and healthy meals with gratitude and love.
